PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device capable of suppressing deposition of lithium and suppressing reduction in battery capacity even on such a condition that a concentration of lithium salt in electrolyte is lower than 1.0 M.SOLUTION: By applying a short-time inverse pulse current a plurality of times in charging of a deteriorated secondary battery, deposition of lithium can be suppressed, and lithium grown in a whisker shape can be dissolved. By applying the inverse pulse current a plurality of times, a lithium ion secondary battery capable of suppressing deterioration caused by repeated charging even in a secondary battery on such a condition that a concentration of lithium salt in electrolyte is lower than 1.0 M and lithium is likely to be deposited, can be achieved. That is, a secondary battery capable of suppressing rapid reduction in battery capacity can be provided without complicating a structure of the battery. |
