<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable further improved LED luminance control for heightening the expression of an LED unit and LED row.SOLUTION: An LED luminance control device comprises a serial communication control unit, a command decoder, a luminance control information register connected per LED row in order to control a plurality of LED rows, a D/A converter unit, a switch circuit, an LED driver, and an internal voltage generating unit. The luminance control information register stores information bits for luminance control and information bits for color tone control. The D/A converter unit comprises a first D/A converter for performing D/A conversion on the basis of the information bits for luminance control, and a second D/A converter for performing D/A conversion on the basis of the information bits for color tone control. The switch circuit performs on/off control of the LED driver.</p> |
