<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding nozzle device capable of reducing surface roughness of a plate that is used or damage such as chipping at a periphery of nozzle hole.SOLUTION: A sliding nozzle device includes a fixed metal frame 20, a slide metal frame 30, and an open/close metal frame 40 which slidably holds the slide metal frame, with slide contact surfaces 33a, 46b of slide members 33, 46 provided to the slide metal frame 30 and the open/close metal frame 40 sliding/contacting each other. The slide contact surfaces 33a of the slide members of the slide metal frame are provided with a predetermined separation at the front and the back along the slide direction. Between the slide contact surfaces 33a at the front and the back is a recess 34. The slide contact surfaces 46a of the slide members of the open/close metal frame are provided with a predetermined space at the front and the back in the slide direction, with a recess 47 between the slide contact surfaces 46a at the front and the back.</p> |
