Provided is a pneumatic tire which ensures the required performance for tires, such as wet grip performance, wear resistance, and the suppression of degradation over time, and which has an excellent finished state for the joining surface between the tread and the wing or sidewall adjacent thereto. A pneumatic tire having a tread and a wing or sidewall adjacent to the tread, wherein: the tread comprises a tread rubber composition comprising1-60 parts by mass of aluminum hydroxide having a mean particle size of 0.69 μm or smaller and a nitrogen surface area of 10-50 m2/g and 0.56-1.25 parts by mass of a pure sulfur component derived from a crosslinking agent per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; the wing and sidewall comprise a wing/sidewall rubber composition comprising 1.3-2.5 parts by mass of a pure sulfur component derived from a crosslinking agent per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and the content of the pure sulfur component derived from a crosslinking agent in the tread rubber composition and that in the wing/sidewall rubber composition satisfy a specific formula. |
