[Problem] To provide a bar antenna which, in addition to having a bar core that is highly resistant to impact and difficult to bend, is able to continue exhibiting the functionality of a bar antenna even if the bar core is bent. [Solution] A bar antenna (1) is equipped with a bar core (2) formed from at least two core parts (2a, 2b) connected in series, a bobbin (3) covering at least a portion of the bar core (2), a coil (4) wound around a predetermined portion of the bobbin (3), and a case (5) in which the bar core (2) and bobbin (3) are disposed. The inside of the case (5) is filled with a potting material to encapsulate the bar core (2) and the bobbin (3), allowing the bar core (2) to be formed so as to be able to bend at a connecting portion (21) between the at least two core parts (2a, 2b) in response to a predetermined external force. |
