PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or reduce sounding of a smoothing capacitor.SOLUTION: A display device 1 with a touch detection function includes a display part (gate driver 12 or the like), a power supply circuit 110, smoothing capacitors C11 to C14, and a power consumption part. The display part has a first period for consuming prescribed power and a second period having power consumption smaller than in the first period, and the power consumption is periodically changed by repeating the first period and the second period. The power supply circuit 110 feeds the power to the display part. The smoothing capacitors C11 to C14 stabilize the power fed from the power supply circuit 110 to the display part. The power consumption part consumes the power fed from the power supply circuit 110 during the second period. |
