PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component with excellent humidity resistance.SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component comprises a ceramic element body l0, a glass coat layer 15, and a terminal electrode 13. An end of an internal electrode 11 is exposed on a surface of the ceramic element body 10. The glass coat layer 15 covers the exposed portion of the internal electrode 11 of the ceramic element body 10. The terminal electrode 13 is provided directly above the glass coat layer 15, and composed of a plating film. The glass coat layer 15 includes a glass medium 15b and metal powders 15a. The metal powders 15a are dispersed in the glass medium 15b. The metal powers 15a also form a conductive path. The conductive path electrically connects the internal electrode 11 and the terminal electrode 13. The metal powders 15a include a first metal powder 15a1 and a second metal powder 15a2. The first metal powder 15a1 is a flat powder. The second metal powder 15a2 is a spherical powder. |
