PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in order to improve durability of a photoreceptor, both improvement of mechanical characteristics such as adhesion to a substrate, and stability of electrical characteristics such as residual potential, sensitivity, and chargeability need to be achieved; in the case of a lamination type photoreceptor in particular, ensuring adhesiveness of respective layers is the continuous issue due to the complex physical properties of the constituents of the respective layers derived from resin and photosensitive materials.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises: a charge generating layer; and a charge transport layer as a photosensitive layer laminated in this order on a conductive support. The charge transport layer contains a polyarylate resin, and the charge generating layer contains at least a resin having a polyvinyl acetal structure and a resin having a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer structure at a specific ratio, so as to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent adhesiveness of a photosensitive layer with a substrate.
|
