Provided are a dual connectivity processing method and device and a network element of a core network. The method comprises: a network element of a core network determines that one or more second base stations has established a connection with a terminal; and the network element of the core network processes dual connectivity, wherein the dual connectivity means that the terminal which has established a connection with a first base station establishes the connection with the one or more second base stations. By means of the present invention, the problem in the related art that the dual connectivity cannot be managed and controlled is solved, and thereby achieving the effect that dual connectivity is effectively managed and controlled by the core network. |
