<p>Described herein is a latch useful for safety or security purposes, comprising: a cable having a first end coupled to a finger actuated, spring-loaded, sliding bolt, snap-hook and a second end coupled to a first mounting plate; a first ring coupled to a second mounting plate; the first and second mounting plates each defining at least one aperture for receiving a fastener for attaching the first and second mounting plates to a main body of an enclosure and an openable bather of the enclosure, respectively; the latch being in a closed state with the snap-hook linked to the first ring and an open state with the snap-hook disengaged from the first ring.</p> |
