PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head rest for vehicle capable of stably retaining the function of a movable part of a head rest frame over a long period of time without being affected by the molding technique of a pad in the head rest for vehicle having an inclinable structure. SOLUTION: The head rest for vehicle is configured by embedding and arranging the head rest frame 10 made by connecting a pair of poles 14, 15 to both ends of a reinforcing material 11 in an inclinable manner via first and second support parts 12, 13 in the pad 4 of which the outer surface is covered with a skin 3, wherein the first support part 12 and the second support part 13 are covered respectively with covers 22, 24, or the first support part 12, the second support part 13 and the reinforcing material 11 are integrally covered with a cover body and is embedded and arranged in the pad 4 in such a packed state.
