<p>A method for the production of ethanol amines comprises the steps of adding ammonia, ethylene oxide and water to a reactor (10). In the reactor, the ethylene oxide is reacted to a reaction product comprising a monoethanolamine, a diethanolamine and a triethanolamine. An ammonia stripper (20) for stripping the ammonia from the reaction product is provided. The reaction product is further concentrated in an evaporator (30) by evaporating water. The concentrated reaction product (31) is fed to a distillation plant (40) for separating the triethanolamine from the monoethanolamine and diethanolamine. The ammonia stripped from the reaction product (11) is fed to an ammonia absorber (100) for recycling the ammonia to the reactor (10).</p> |
