PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus that is capable of preventing the fluctuation of a braking force, when stopping the supply of fuel to an engine during deceleration and blocking the transmission of power between an engine and a drive wheel. SOLUTION: The vehicle control apparatus includes the engine, a clutch for blocking the transmission of power between the engine and the drive wheel by opening, and a controllable braking device.
