PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel for ships, excellent in coating film-blistering resistance with which even under severe seawater corrosive atmosphere, such as ballast-tank in the ship, the period till repairing and coating can be extended and this work for repairing and coating can be lightened by suggesting the excellent coating corrosive resistance. SOLUTION: The steel for ships, excellent in the coating film-blistering resistance is coated with zinc-primer on the surface of the steel, in which the equivalent quantity of soluble-NaCl concentration stuck to the surface of the steel after shot-blasting treatment is≤100 mg/m<SP>2</SP>.
