A gaming device (10) comprises a housing (11) of octagonal shape, a spinnable wheel (12) vertically mounted within the housing (11) on an axle (13). The wheel (12) has indicia (14) of a standard deck of playing cards and one joker arranged about the periphery (15) of a side (16) of the wheel (12) open to view by a player. A set of pins (17) is mounted on the wheel (12) with a pin (17) being fixed into the viewable side (16) and extending perpendicularly therefrom between each adjacent card indicium (14). A transparent cover (18) is mounted in the housing (11) over the viewable side (16), with the viewable side (16) and the cover (18) being separated by the height of the set of pins (17) so as to create a space (19) between the viewable side (16) and the cover (18). A puck (20) is located within the space (19), the dimensions of the puck (20) being such that it will not pass between an adjacent pair of pins (17), and such that, in use, as the wheel (12) spins, the puck (20) will bounce from pin (17) to pin (17) and will come to rest between an adjacent pair of pins (17) as the wheel (12) comes to a stop, thereby indicating the winning card for that spin. <Figure 1> |
