There is disclosed breathing apparatus equipment which may be in the form of a waist mountable manifold 1. The breathing apparatus equipment 1 comprises a manifold 40 having a manifold inlet port 42 for a source of breathable gas 80 and at least onemanifold outlet port 44 for delivering breathable gas to a user. The equipment further comprises a strap 14 arranged to be worn by the user, and a holder 20 coupled to the strap and having a socket (26, Fig 4). The socket 26 is configured such that the manifold 40 can be removably located within the socket 26 in multiple orientations. This has the advantage in that the manifold 40 can be worn on both the left and right side of the user.  |
