<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide infrared ray-absorbing fiber by which sportswear, leotards and swimming wear can be dyed in a variety of color patterns even in fiber having infrared absorbency applied thereto due to dyeing. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is infrared ray-absorbing fiber including one kind selected from polyester, acryl, vinylon and a composite material including polyester that are obtained by adsorbing an iron-containing pigment C.I.Pigment Green 8 at a concentration of 0.5-1.5%o.w.f on the fiber. The polyester, the acryl, the vinylon and the composite material including polyester each have a brightness L* in the CIELAB coordinate of 60 or more and an infrared reflectivity at 830 nm wavelength of less than 40%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
