PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine which can reduce the manufacturing cost and the running cost.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine comprises: an outlet duct 51f which is guided from an outlet 51d opened to screen parts for covering a part between a water tank 20 and the periphery of an opening 11a and which is provided with a fan 50 and a heater 54; an outside air introducing duct 57 connected to the outlet duct 51f and introducing the outside air; and an exhaust duct 53 guided from an air outlet 53a opened to the screen parts and opened to the atmosphere. The machine performs a washing step of supplying the dewatering bin 30 with water to wash the laundry and a drying step of sending an outside air heated up by the driving of the fan 50 and the heater 54 and exhausting the air through the exhaust duct 53 to dry the laundry. Air is blown out downward from an outlet port 51d along a peripheral wall of the dewatering bin 30. The air outlet 53a is arranged above the outlet port 51d at the same side of the outlet port 51d with respect to the center of the dewatering bin 30. |
