PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice-making device of a refrigerator-freezer for finishing transparent ice in a short time as much as possible. SOLUTION: An ice-making device 10 includes: a chill tray 20 for making ice by cold air blown into an ice-making chamber 4; a thermistor 25 for measuring a temperature in the chill tray 20; a heater 31 for heating the chill tray 20 from the lower side; and a control part 50 for performing the operation control of a refrigerating cycle and the current-carrying control of the heater 31 by using the measured temperature by the thermistor 25 as a criterion. The control part 50 executes a transparent ice making process for controlling the progress of freezing by making the heater 31 carry a current after water supply to the chill tray 20, and for executing an ice melting step in the early stage of making the heater 31 carry the current, and executes an operation mode for continuing the operation of a blower 52 for blowing cold air to the ice-making chamber 4 even if a compressor 51 in the refrigerating cycle goes into a stop period as the operation mode of a refrigerator-freezer 1 during water supply to the chill tray 20 to make ice.
