PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation device with a facility icon display adjusting function" capable of displaying, when displaying many facility icons in the result of facility search on a map, the icons which are likely to be illegible due to crowding and mutual overlapping, in a manner not to overlap while keeping the distance relationship from a specified position. SOLUTION: In the case where peripheral facilities of a specified place are searched and three or more facility icons are displayed on facility positions of the map, when an overlapped state is detected, a polygon connecting the center points of the icons is formed and an optional point therein such as a centroid is set as a movement center point of the icons. A direction of a line connecting the center point of each icon and the movement center point of icons is defined as the movement direction of each icon, and a position obtained by multiplying the distance between the center point of each icon and the movement center point of the icons by the same enlarging factor is defined as the icon movement position. When it is still in the overlapped state, the enlarging factor is increased until the overlapping display of the icons is dissolved.
