Disclosed is a liquid-crystal panel manufacturing method in which defective regions of an alignment film can be repaired more easily. Said method includes: a step in which an alignment film is formed on the surface of a substrate via inkjet-style discharge of a liquid coating; and a step in which a repair ink is applied to repair defective regions of the alignment film. The liquid coating contains: solids comprising a material that forms the alignment film; a strong solvent that dissolves the aforementioned solids; and a weak solvent. The repair ink has a lower concentration of solids than the liquid coating. The repair ink contains: solids; a strong solvent that dissolves said solids; a weak solvent; and a low-surface-tension agent that decreases the contact angle of the repair ink.
|
