PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of improving productivity, and inexpensively manufacturable. SOLUTION: This solenoid valve (normally open type solenoid valve 1) includes: a valve seat member 4; a valve element member 5 bidirectionally moving to freely abut on the valve seat member 4; and a tubular body part 3 for housing the valve seat member 4 and the valve element member 5 therein. The body part 3 includes: a tubular first body part 31 for bidirectionally movably supporting the valve element member 5; and a tubular second body part 32 formed as a separate component from the first body part 31 for holding the valve seat member 4. The upper end of the second body part 32 is entered and fitted in/to the inside of the lower end of the first body part 31, thereby the first body part 31 and the second body part 32 are connected to each other, and the solenoid valve includes, between the first body part 31 and the second body part 32 in the fitting part, a communication path R3 extending in the bidirectional movement direction of the valve element member 5 for making the inside and the outside of the body part 3 communicate with each other.
