PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase having a shelf front rail decoration mounted to the front part of a shelf which has improved illumination effect. SOLUTION: The showcase S displays merchandise products on the shelves 11 installed in a display compartment 3, and includes LED illumination devices 40 each including LED elements 41, and the shelf front rail decorations 45 each having light transmission property and mounted to the front part of the shelf 11 to be disposed apart from a front end surface 11B of the shelf at a predetermined interval. The shelf 11 is formed of a light transmitting plate material, the light from the LED illumination device 40 is incident in the shelf 11 from the rear end surface 11B of the shelf 11, and the longitudinal cross-section of the front end surface 11B of the shelf 11 has a concave lens shape.
