<p>The present invention relates to beverage dispense taps, particularly those bearing illuminated logos positioned on the handle. The beverage dispense tap comprises 5 a handle having a handle cam 24 at one end. The handle comprises a light source 28 such as LEDs and a first electrical contact arranged on the handle cam, and an electrical contact (58, Fig.3) with the light source. The beverage dispense tap further comprises a bonnet 20 for pivotably mounting the handle cam thereto. The bonnet comprises a second electrical contact (104, Fig.5), electrically connectable to a power source. The first and second electrical contacts are selectively contactable so as to provide an open (fig.1b) or a closed circuit (fig.1a), depending on the position of the handle with respect to the bonnet. Preferably, the circuit is closed when the handle is in a non-dispensing configuration with respect to the bonnet.</p> |
