PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material resistant to external shock, excellent in fatigue characteristics upon variation of the application environment, for example, change in temperature and repeated load, which is most suitably used for members such as primary structure of airplanes. SOLUTION: This fiber-reinforced composite material includes at least the following constituting elements: [A] a carbon fiber flux comprising 6,000-70,000 filaments; [B] a hardened article of a specified thermosetting resin; [C] a core-shell polymer particle having a volume-average particle diameter of 1-500 nm; and [D] a specified amorphous thermoplastic resin, wherein composite layers 1 which include at least constituting elements [A], [B] and [C], and composite layers 2 which include at least constituting elements [B], [C] and [D] are alternately laminated, and the composite layer 1 has a region which contains substantially no constituting element [D], and the composite layer 2 has an average layer thickness of 10-50μm.
