<p>Disclosed are an audio system and a method of connecting external devices. The audio system according to an aspect of the present invention is characterized in comprising: a connection medium table which manages device identifications (IDs) of devices using an iPod accessory protocol (iAP) for universal serial bus (USB) communication and an activation state of an interface; and a control unit which deactivates an advance audio distribution profile (A2DP) profile in the connection medium table, when the Bluetooth communication and USB communication with the external devices are established and enables audio streaming by using the iAP.</p> |
