PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately forming a non-electrodeposited portion in an insulated conductor. SOLUTION: A method for producing an insulated conductor includes: a masking step of coating and masking a non-electrodeposited portion on a surface of a thin metallic wire 110 with an urethane-based electrodeposition material; an electrodeposition coating forming step of forming an electrodeposition coating layer 130 on an outer face other than the non-electrodeposited portion masked in the masking step; and a masking peeling step of peeling and removing the urethane-based electrodeposition material from the masked non-electrodeposited portion. A film thickness of the urethane-based electrodeposition material masking the non-electrodeposited portion is 1μm or more and 2μm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
