[Class 20 (i)] [Also in Group XXI] A sighting-aperture fitment 12, particularly for an armoured vehicle, comprises an inner seat for a multi-layer removable glass block 20, retained as by a vertically-sliding wedge 22, and an outer seat for a hinged protecting flap 16 which has a sighting slit 17 and which is operated from the inside by a crank 19 to provide either a narrow protected opening or a wider field of views. The wedge 22 is retained by a pivoted latch 24.
