PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for decorating a component, which can raise appearance quality by carrying out irradiation of a laser with a proper irradiation condition according to pictures and changing a condition of a surface of the component. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for decorating the component includes: a laser irradiation apparatus 13; and a control device 14 to control the laser irradiation apparatus 13. In the memory 32 of a control device 14, a state change data showing state change by laser irradiation for each color of ground comprising the pictures is memorized, while pattern data showing the picture is memorized. A CPU 31 of the control device sets irradiation parameters of the laser L according to color distribution of pictures based on the pattern data and the state change data which are memorized by the memory 32, and controls the laser irradiation apparatus 13 based on the irradiation parameter.
