<p>A mobile terminal and a case to provide functions of a feature phone are disclosed. The mobile terminal providing functions of the feature phone includes a keyboard cover recognizing unit recognizing a keyboard cover included in the case; an operation mode determining unit which determines an operation mode of the portable terminal, which includes a basic mode and a feature phone mode providing the function of the feature phone, depending on the recognition of the keyboard cover; and a user interface providing unit which provides a user interface corresponding to the feature phone mode when the operation mode is the feature phone mode.</p> |
