A nut apparatus 24 for releasably securing components or separate apparatus together comprises a first, inner, nut portion 26 comprising an inner threaded portion 28 and an outer threaded portion 32. A second, outer, nut portion 42 of the nut apparatus 24 is disposed on the inner nut portion 26. In use, the first nut portion 26 is mounted on a bolt 36 and arranged to allow the second nut portion 42 mounted on the first nut portion 26 to be telescopically extended therefrom. |
