PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a glass molded body highly suppressed in devitrification; and to provide an optical element and an optical device highly suppressed in devitrification. SOLUTION: The method for producing a glass molded body, in which a molten glass MG is received in a forming mold 10 and molded while being fluidized, has a step of cooling the upper surface and/or the lower surface of the molten glass MG flowing on the molding mold 10, wherein the cooling is carried out more highly on the central part in the width direction of the molten glass MG than on both end parts thereof.
