PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BIM system capable of displaying an escalator fitted in a building in a visually comprehensible manner when proposing an escalator facility plan.SOLUTION: A BIM system creates BIM parts of an escalator that meats producing conditions, creates an integrated BIM model by fitting the BIM parts into a BIM model of a building, generates a layout image containing the integrated BIM model, and presents the layout image on a display unit. The BIM system simulates environment of the integrated BIM model by changing environmental objects that affect internal and external environment of the BIM model on the layout image. The BIM system then generates a layout image containing a light-collecting environment and a lighting environment surrounding where the escalator is installed on the basis of a result of the simulation. |
