<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which receives a topic by a predetermined computer to transfer it to other networks only when the topic exchanged in the self-network is required by the other networks, in a distributed system constituted by the connection of a plurality of computer clusters. <P>SOLUTION: In a distributed computer system 4, when a computer belonging to a computer cluster initiates a transmission process in the self-computer, the computer transmits a transmission process initiation notification to the entire other computers in the computer cluster to which the self-computer belongs. On receiving the transmission process initiation notification, a relay computer, which belongs to an identical computer cluster to the computer transmitting the transmission process initiation notification, transmits the transmission process initiation notification to the entire other relay computers through networks 2-4.
