The invention provides a method for producing a thin film with a coating film. The coating film containing active ray curable compositions is irradiated with active ray and cured, and the coating film is not whitened even though the coating film is dried. The method comprises the following steps: preparing at least one coating liquid containing the active ray curable compositions, coating a support body (20) with the coating liquid to form at least one coating film (10), irradiating the coating film (10) with the active ray, and drying the irradiated coating film(10), wherein in the irradiating step, the coating film at the wet state is irradiated with the active ray, so that the curable rate of the active ray curable compositions in the coating film is increased to 10-80%; in the drying step, the coating film is dried at the average evaporation rate of the solvent evaporating from the coating film being 3.00g/m2.second during the period starting from the ending of the irradiation of the active ray and ending with that the concentration of the solid composition of the coating film (10) is 80% of that of the solid composition of the coating film (10) when the retarded drying is started. |
