PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and firmly stick cloth on a base of a wall or partition while shortening a working period of time and preventing the generation of an irritating smell. SOLUTION: In the method for sticking the cloth on the wall or the partition, the cloth is directly stuck on the base of the wall or partition by applying an adhesive agent to the cloth, which contains a resin emulsion including at least one of an emulsion of an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin and an emulsion of acrylic copolymer resin, and a starch-based adhesive agent, as a maim component, without applying primer to the base of the wall or partition.
