PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve with a solenoid valve integrated therein that eliminates a freezing phenomenon of moisture by effectively transmitting the heat, which is generated during energizaton of coils, using the solenoid valve attached to an expansion valve body. SOLUTION: The expansion valve with the solenoid valve includes: the valve body 10 having a valve chamber 150, an orifice 134 communicating with the valve chamber, a passage 110 for introducing a high pressure refrigerant into a valve chamber, and an outlet passage 140 where a refrigerant decompressed by an orifice is derived to the outside; a valve element 120 for opening and closing the orifice; a power element 20 for driving the valve element; and a solenoid valve 30 for opening and closing the passage 110. The expansion valve also includes a plunger tube 300 and a holder 50 for transmitting the heat generated by an electromagnetic coil 342 of the solenoid valve to the valve body.
