PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-friction bearing having high seizure resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance by improving the peel resistance of a DLC film formed on inner and outer raceway surfaces or the like of the anti-friction bearing and exhibiting the original characteristics of the DLC film. SOLUTION: The anti-friction bearing 1 includes an inner race 2 having the inner raceway surface 2a on its outer periphery, an outer race 3 having the outer raceway surface 3a on its inner periphery, and a plurality of rolling elements 4 rolling between the inner raceway surface 2a and the outer raceway surface 3a. Hard films 8 are formed on the inner raceway surface 2a and outer raceway surface 3a, which are curved surfaces. Each of the hard films 8 includes a foundation layer which is made primarily of Cr and is directly formed on the surface; a mixed layer which is made primarily of WC and DLC and is formed on the foundation layer; and a surface layer which is made primarily of DLC and is formed on the mixed layer. The mixed layer is such that the content ratio of WC decreases continuously or in stages from the foundation layer side to the surface layer side, and that the content ratio of DLC increases continuously or in stages from the foundation layer side to the surface layer side.
