摘要 An electromechanical surgical system(10), comprising: a hand-held surgical instrument (100) including an instrument housing (102) defining a connecting portion (108a) for selectively connecting with a shaft assembly (200), the surgical instrument having at least one rotatable drive member (118, 120, 122); an end effector (400) configured to perform at least one function; and the shaft assembly (200) being arranged for selectively interconnecting the end effector (400) and the surgical device, the shaft assembly including: a transmission housing (212) configured and adapted for selective connection to the connecting portion (108a) of the surgical device and to be in operative communication with each of the at least one rotatable drive member (118, 120, 122) of the surgical device; an outer tubular body (210) having a proximal end (210a) supported by the transmission housing (212) and a distal end (210b) configured and adapted for operative connection with the end effector (400); a distal neck housing (236) for interconnecting a rotatable drive member (118, 120, 122) of the surgical instrument and a rotation receiving member (239) supported in the end effector, wherein the distal neck housing (236) includes a first end that is connectable to one rotatable drive member of the surgical instrument and a second end that is connectable to the rotation receiving member of the end effector, wherein the distal neck housing (236) transmits a rotation of the rotatable drive member of the surgical instrument to the rotation receiving member of the end effector, the distal neck housing (236) including: an outer tubular housing (237) defining at least one tooth extending radially inward therefrom; a first gear system (280) supported in the outer tubular housing, the first gear system includes: a first sun gear (282) drivable by the one rotatable drive member of the surgical instrument; a ring gear (584) rotatably supported in the outer tubular housing; at least one first planet gear (286) interposed and inter-engaging the first sun gear and the ring gear; and a carrier (288) rotatably supported in the outer tubular housing (237), the carrier including a respective stem rotatably supporting each first planet gear; wherein when the first sun gear (282) rotates each first planet gear (286) about an axis of rotation of first sun gear, the end effector (400) is fired; and wherein when the first sun gear rotates each first planet gear about a respective axis of rotation, the end effector is rotated; a crown gear (589) non-rotatably connected to the carrier; and a locking pin (560) axially, non-rotatably and slidably supported in the outer tubular housing (237), wherein the locking pin (560) includes a first position wherein the locking pin engages the crown gear (589) and prevents the crown gear from rotating, wherein non-rotation of the crown gear permits the rotation of the end effector (400), and wherein the locking pin (560) includes a second position wherein the locking pin is disengaged from the crown gear (589) and permits the crown gear to rotate, wherein rotation of the crown gear permits the firing of the end effector (400).
