An operating method of a terminal device according to an embodiment of the invention comprises: a step of receiving card information from a server; a step of storing the received card information; a step of identifying at least one terminal for payment which exists nearby by using short-range communication; and a step of applying a payment function to the identified terminal for payment based on the card information and a user input.
