Disclosed is a loudness measurement method for calculating a loudness level of an audio signal inputted through a microphone. To this end, the loudness measurement method comprises the steps of: converting an audio signal inputted through a microphone into audio data through an A/D converter; collecting the audio data for a predetermined time and securing a distribution chart of data values by analyzing data values of the collected audio data; calculating a multiplication value of a predetermined ratio with respect to a total number of the audio data distributed in the distribution chart and calculating a section value in which the number of the audio data, which is acquired by adding the audio data whose data value is a high section, corresponds to the multiplication value; and acquiring a loudness value of a prepared lookup table corresponding to the section value by applying the section value to the prepared lookup table. According to the present invention, even when the performance of a CPU is low, the loudness level can be known. Hence, it is possible to automatically control the loudness level appropriately according to the system. Consequently, users can use more convenient services. |
