The color filter array of the color imaging element includes a predetermined basic array pattern P of 6×6 pixels in a diagonal grid shape including more G filters corresponding to green (G) with a high contribution ratio for obtaining luminance signals than R and B filters corresponding to red (R) and blue (B) with low contribution ratios for obtaining the luminance signals other than G, and the basic array pattern P is repeatedly arranged in a diagonal grid shape. One or more G filters are arranged in each line in horizontal, vertical, upper right, and lower right directions of the color filter array, and one or more R and B filters are arranged in each line in the upper right and lower right directions in the basic array pattern P.</p> |
