A motor vehicle plastic body panel

A motor vehicle plastic body panel 11 is disclosed having a plastic window pane 20 and an opaque plastic panel 12 defining an outer surface of part of a motor vehicle where the plastic window pane 20 is formed as an integral part of the motor vehicle plastic body panel. A method of production is disclosed where the plastic body panel is formed by forming the plastic window pane 20 from a first plastic material and injecting a second plastic material into a mould in which the plastic pane 20 is located to embed an outer peripheral border of the window pane 20 in the second plastic material and for the opaque plastic panel 12. Preferably the plastic window pane 20 has an outer peripheral border 17 and the outer peripheral border 17 of the window pane 20 is embedded within the opaque plastic panel.
