PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder etc., that can suitably protect a connection part of a coated optical fiber and make a connection part of an optical cable thin in diameter, and also facilitate connecting operation for optical cable when connecting a loose tube type optical cable etc.SOLUTION: At an optical cable connection part 1 where optical cables 10 (10-1, 10-2) of an optical composite power cable 100 are connected to each other, a plurality of coated optical fibers 111 in loose tubes 11 of the optical cables 10 are flatly arranged, and connected together at a time using a multi-fiber fusion machine 40. An optical fiber connection part 12 is put in a reinforcing sleeve 50 and the reinforcing sleeve 50 is heated and cooled. The optical fiber connection part 12 is then coated with only a reinforcing material 52 of the reinforcing sleeve 50 having been cooled and solidified, and then protected by being put in a storage groove 33 of a holder 30. The holder 30 is provided with two storage grooves 33 and two through grooves 35, and the optical cable connection part 1 has four optical fiber connection parts 12 dispersed and arranged in two holders 30. |
