A reciprocating compressor according to the present invention includes: a piston; a hole unit which has the piston inserted to move in a reciprocating motion; a cylinder which has a compression chamber discharging gas to the front end of the piston in the hole unit; a crank device which drives the piston to compress the gas discharged from the compression chamber to the piston; and a piston ring which is fitted to the piston from the outer side to slide on the inner peripheral surface forming the hole unit of the cylinder. A taper unit is formed on the end unit near the proximal end of the piston within the inner peripheral surface of the hole unit of the cylinder. |
