METHOD OF CORRECTING HYPODERMIC VEIN DETECTION IMAGES

In a method for correcting hypodermal blood vessel detection image, infrared light is irradiated to a skin by using an infrared light source, reflected light is received by a camera, digital image information visualizing hypodermal blood vessels is obtained, and the obtained digital image information is corrected by using a lookup table algorithm. When the digital image information is corrected, the lookup table algorithm is adjusted such that a function between a brightness value and output brightness corresponding to the brightness value becomes a nonlinear function. Accordingly, sensitivity of the hypodermal blood vessel image may be enhanced, and thus, hypodermal blood vessels can be easily distinguished.
