Provided is a display device which includes a display panel which includes sub pixels formed between a lower substrate and an upper substrate; a polarizing plate formed on the inner surface of the upper substrate; and a planarization layer which is formed on the polarizing plate, corrects the nonuniform surface of the polarizing plate to be flat.
