Disclosed are a system for predicting the fluctuations of stock prices using an artificial neural network model and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the system for predicting the fluctuations of stock prices using an artificial neural network model includes: an input unit which receives a plurality of data related to a stock market as input data; a modeling unit which assigns the inputted stock market-related data to a plurality of first nodes, applies a first weight to each data assigned to the first nodes, and assigns the first weight-applied data to a plurality of second nodes, thereby modeling an artificial neural network model; and an output unit which applies a second weight to the data assigned to the second nodes to compute a weighted sum, inputs the data to an activation function to calculate a single value, compares the single value with a pre-defined threshold, outputs a high value as an output value if the single value is greater than the threshold, and outputs a low value as an output value if the single value is smaller than the threshold. |
