The present invention relates to an insulation coupling device for buildings that connects adjacent insulations and blocks heat transfer through a contact portion between the insulations. Both adjacent insulations (20, 30) have C-shaped engaging grooves (22, 32) of which the width is increased toward the inside of the insulation on the basis of contact surfaces (L1, L2) and which are symmetrical to each other. The rear surfaces (21, 31) of the insulations (20, 30) have locking grooves (22g, 32g) of the constant depth which are coaxial with the engaging grooves (22, 32). Elastically engaging bosses (42, 44) protrudes forwardly from a rear locking plate (40) to be inserted into the locking groove (22g, 32g), so the rear locking plate is flush with the rear surfaces (21, 31). Both ends of a coupling member (50) having a wasp waist (52) are provided with thick fitting portions (54, 56) which are fitted in the engaging grooves (22, 32). The fitting portions (54, 56) of the coupling member (50) are formed with holes (54h, 56h) having a small diameter hole (54s) and a large diameter hole (54a) to receive the elastically engaging bosses (42, 44). A line attaching plate (60) of a strip shape for hiding a front contact line (L3) formed by the contact surfaces (L1, L2) of the insulations (20, 30) is provided with coupling plates (62, 64), which are symmetrically formed, having boss holes (62h, 64h) to which the elastically engaging bosses (42, 44) are fitted. |
