The present invention relates to a boost converter which is used to output a voltage higher than an input voltage. The boost converter according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a voltage input unit; a rectifying unit; an output voltage unit; an output voltage determination unit; a reference voltage generating unit; a voltage comparison unit; and a pulse width modulation (PWM) unit. The reference voltage generation unit is used as a supply voltage by giving feedback to the output voltage (VOUT). The rectifying unit includes at least one diode.
